Scope and current status
This policy covers daggerfall.online and its self-hosted client. It covers our independent account and multiplayer services. It does not describe or govern the separate daggerfalljs.dev service.
Original game files and local storage
The game client runs at s.daggerfall.online inside this website. It reads files that you select on your device and may cache game data, preferences, and local progress in browser storage belonging to that subdomain. Original ARENA2 files are not uploaded to our server by the intended import flow.
Clearing site data can remove local progress. Storage availability and retention depend on your browser and operating system. Do not clear data before preserving a valid save.
Traffic analytics
The website and embedded game load https://data.1back.link/js/app.js and send analytics requests to https://data.1back.link/api/send to help understand page use. Requests may include ordinary network and browser information, page addresses, and referral information.
Browser settings and blockers may prevent these requests. Do not put credentials or personal information in page URLs. We do not intentionally include game files, passwords, recovery codes, or save contents in analytics events.
Accounts and online play
Online features process account identifiers, authentication records, selected cloud saves, social information and operational data needed to provide the service. Contact us about access or deletion requests; do not send passwords or recovery codes in email.
We do not claim that online play is anonymous or that network connections reveal no technical information. No payment or subscription service is offered in this version.
Support and external links
If you email us, we receive the information you choose to send and use it to respond. Send the minimum useful information. External services such as Steam and GitHub have their own policies.
